Further expansion in 2003 saw the opening of our Hong Kong office to serve our clients in North Asia.  Our presence in Hong Kong allows us to provide an immediate response to incidents in the region, and with the backup of the International Burgoyne Group, we have the expertise and resources to assemble a multi-disciplinary team of investigators when necessary.

Investigations undertaken from Hong Kong have included incidents of fires and explosions, material failures, chemical and process plant failures, electrical equipment failures and contamination assessments.  We have particularly strong experience of marine fires and explosions, and investigating and providing advice on cargo issues, for example, on dangerous goods cargoes, and on cargo damage, quality, contamination, spoilage, and self-heating.  We can also provide advice on the handling of ‘live incidents’ such as cargo fires and self-heating.
