Stuart obtained a Physics degree from the University of Bristol and then worked in the Defence Research Agency and at the Health and Safety Executive’s Laboratories, where he conducted research into the blast effects of explosive materials. Stuart joined Burgoynes in 1997 and transferred to Ireland in 2000. He moved to Coventry in 2005.
