Joanna Lawson

Joanna Lawson obtained her degree in Chemistry with Archaeology from Reading University.  After two years as a research & development chemist in the paint industry she spent four years teaching chemistry up to A level standard while also studying to complete a post graduate diploma (PGDip) in Forensic Archaeology from Bournemouth University. 

Jo joined Dr J H Burgoyne and Partners LLP as an Associate in 2001, based in the firm’s Kenilworth office.  Since then she has been continuously engaged in the investigation of fires, explosions and other incidents.  Jo has undertaken over 550 investigations into a wide variety of incidents including those involving residential, commercial and industrial buildings and motorised equipment and vehicles.  Jo is a Chartered Chemist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and of the Forensic Science Society.
