Daniel Jackson joined the partnership in May 2006 as an Associate and has been engaged full-time since that date in the investigation of fires and explosions. He has been personally responsible for investigating fires and explosions in a wide variety of premises and machinery, including industrial and domestic buildings, electrical equipment, heat-producing appliances, materials susceptible to self-heating, paint spraying facilities and domestic appliances. Daniel has also dealt with cases involving broken and damaged glass.
Prior to joining Burgoynes, Daniel was employed for 6 years at the Forensic Science Service where he undertook examinations involving glass, marks and textile fibres in over 400 cases predominantly on behalf of Police forces of England and Wales. During this period, he attended Crown and Magistrates’ Courts to give evidence as an expert witness on numerous occasions.
