Graeme Campbell joined Dr J H Burgoyne and Partners in 2002. Since that time, he has been continuously engaged in the investigation of fires, explosions and engineering incidents. He has undertaken over 300 investigations and has prepared reports for courtroom purposes. He is based in the firm’s Glasgow office and has undertaken investigations throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Graeme has investigated fires, explosions and other incidents arising from the physical and chemical properties of substances, electrical faults, mechanical failures and the failure of safety systems and control systems. Electrical engineering incidents investigated include electrocutions, transformer and switchgear failures, cable faults and loss of neutral incidents.
Graeme is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering. Prior to joining Burgoynes, Graeme worked as a Consulting Engineer and has over twelve years experience in the design and the site supervision of a wide variety of electrical engineering installations for industrial and commercial sites.
