Darren Walsh

Darren obtained his primary and doctoral degrees in the University of Dublin, Trinity College. He obtained his masters degree in the Queens University of Belfast. He worked for a consulting forensic engineering firm and as a post-doctoral fellow at University of Dublin, Trinity College, before joining Burgoynes in 2003. He is based in the firm’s Stevenage office.

Darren specialises in reconstruction of road traffic incidents and product failures, and has investigates over 500 cases to date. He has a particular interest in vehicle-pedestrian collisions, and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers in international Journals, including the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the International Journal of Crashworthiness. He has also been accepted as an Expert in both Civil and Criminal Courts, and at Coroners Courts, and regularly attends Courts to give Expert testimony. He has undertaken investigations in several European Countries.
