Greg worked for Ciba Speciality Chemical PLC for 11 years, four of which were spent in a laboratory testing the fire and explosion properties of chemicals.   This testing included performing dust explosions, self-heating test for bulk storage, flashpoint determination and shock sensitivity tests.  During his time at Ciba, Greg attained a Higher National Certificate in Chemistry before obtaining an honours degree in Applied Chemistry from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005.

Greg Rogers joined Burgoynes in 2006 and principally investigates fires and explosions. Since joining he has investigated a variety of incidents in both private dwellings and commercial buildings.
