Natalie obtained a BSc in Chemistry at Imperial College, London and remained there to obtain her PhD in the field of peroxide chemistry.  She is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

After a brief period of time working at a firm of Patent Attorneys, working in a variety of different fields such as industrial equipment and chemical technology, Natalie joined Burgoynes in 2005.  She specialises in the investigation of fires and explosions and has attended over 250 such incidents, at both domestic and industrial premises. She has also dealt with incidents of chemical contamination.  In 2007 Natalie prepared expert opinion for both criminal and civil litigation.
