Experience:
After graduating with an MSc in Materials Engineering from AGH, Jacek took part in a 12-month internship in Japan, where he worked on the development of high strength micro-alloyed steels for the automotive industry. For the following 14 years, he worked as a Materials Engineer for several international corporations that operated within aerospace, automotive and white goods industries. During this time Jacek used his knowledge of materials to support both Design and Manufacturing activities, for example he contributed to selection of materials for newly designed products or developed processing parameters for heat treatment and welding operations. From 2016 to when he joined Burgoynes in 2020, Jacek worked at Honeywell Aerospace, Yeovil, Somerset, where he held a position of Materials Engineering Manager.
Since joining Burgoynes, Jacek has been involved in a variety of cases involving materials and mechanical failure, including escapes of water/oil, corrosion and personal injury cases.
