Experience:

Jason completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at University College London. As part of his studies he wrote a thesis on the use of Rayleigh-like ultrasonic waves for corrosion and thickness measurement. On completion of his studies Jason spent six years in the mining industry and was based at a number of different sites in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. During this time he gained experience investigating mechanical failures, electrical and control failures and health and safety incidents and developed extensive knowledge about the operation and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment and fixed plant.

Jason joined Burgoynes in 2019 as a Forensic Investigator specialising in fires and explosions. Since joining he has undertaken numerous investigations in domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
