Experience:
After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, Phil worked for HSEC (now Finch Consulting) where he worked primarily on the third party safety assessment of machinery. This involved the safety assessment of fairground rides, engineering investigations into railway issues and the CE marking of machinery and risk assessments. He also undertook several personal injury litigation cases.
After leaving HSEC in 2008, Phil continued to provide third-party assessments of machinery as an independent contractor and undertook a number of litigation cases acting as an expert for both civil and criminal courts.
Phil joined Burgoynes in October 2016 and has been involved in the investigation of escapes of water, mechanical failures and personal injuries.
