Experience:

During his time studying chemistry at university, Trystan took part in research which revolved around the development of a series of novel metal-organic frameworks for industrial applications. After completing his degree, he spent two years working in the chemical industry where he was responsible for the testing and development of polyurethane adhesives and coatings. During this time he also gained experience writing for a science communication publication about the work of various researchers worldwide.

Trystan joined Burgoynes in 2022 as a fire and explosion investigator. He has carried out investigations into the cause of fires in a range of domestic and commercial premises. As part of these investigations Trystan has conducted Police and Fire Service interviews, analysed electrical equipment and carried out joint inspections of fire damaged appliances. He has provided expert advice to businesses, loss adjusters, insurers and solicitors.
