On 22 March 2017, Daniel Jackson took part in the Clyde & Co Emirates Insurance Association Conference on 'High-Rise Building Fires in the Middle East - The Risks and Challenges for Property Insurers' held in Dubai.

Daniel Jackson gave a detailed presentation on some of the key considerations from the perspective of a fire investigator, and the significant role aluminium composite panelling has played in the spate of recent high-rise fires in the UAE.
