In May, Burgoynes Information Services Manager, Sally Walsh, challenged herself to walk, and run, 300km to raise money for the Red Cross. 

Sally wanted to help in the current Covid-19 crisis by supporting the Red Cross, who are helping others, in the UK and around the world. 

She completed the challenge on Tuesday 7th July 2020, a week and a day ahead of her target date.  

Along the way, Sally took full advantage of the magnificent Spring and early Summer weather and the highlight of her challenge was seeing the beautiful gardens and parks, with flowers in full bloom.

Sally managed to raise substantially more than the fund raising target she set herself, and would like to thank all individual sponsors, and Burgoynes for matching the amount of the sponsorship funds raised.
