Strictly Shropshire 2025 - Wow what a night!

Jo Lawson, based at our Kenilworth office took part in Strictly Shropshire 2025, a charity dance event on 28th November 2025.  The event was to raise funds for Hope House and Ty Gobaith Children's Hospices.

16 competitors had just 7 hours of lessons over 7 weeks to learn and perfect their routines, all of which were movie themed. 

Over 400 people attended at the venue and a livestream audience watched worldwide, from countries including Spain, Austria, the USA, Jordan and Poland.

Everyone gave their absolute best performance on the night and also managed to smile and enjoy themselves!  The routines were based on Thor, Aladdin, Trolls, Austin Powers, Greece, Beetlejuice, Cabaret and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  Jo took part in the event as a ‘professional’ dancing a classic smooth foxtrot to Singing In The Rain.  

This year's event has raised over £120,000 for the Shropshire and North Wales based Hope House and Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospices who do incredible work caring for babies, children and young people who have life limiting conditions and providing essential support for their families through often very difficult times.  Jo received matched sponsorship funding from Burgoynes.
